Join us September 12th throughout the day in downtown Williamsburg.  We will be providing the entertainment to go along with the shopping and fun of the Grange Fair.  The Williamsburg Cultural Council is using this time honored event to showcase some of our local musical talent.  We are hoping to have something for everyone.

Annie Patterson is one of America’s premier song leaders. She has been performing professionally around the globe for over 40 years and is well known for her work as co-creator/editor of the songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again. An accomplished folk performer and jazz vocalist, Annie carries with her a suitcase of incredible song knowledge and a repertoire that includes over 2500 songs from many genres, including Americana, contemporary folk, ballads, and gospel.

Snapdragons

The Snapdragons are a group of young musicians who have been playing together for three years. They play singer-songwriter, folk, indie, and alternative music with a focus on harmonies and acoustic instruments. Each of them are multi-instrumentalists with bluegrass roots and a wide range of vocals. Charlotte Williams, 16, from Heath, MA, plays guitar and bass and enjoys adding high harmonies with a rich tone

The Venue

We will be having alternating stages between the General Store, Williamsburg Market, and Tangle Chocolate.  In the center of this is the Grange Fair so you can shop and explore to the sounds of our local talent.

Food & Drink

Williamsburg Market has soups and sandwiches.  Tangle has a variety of chocolate creations.  And the Williamsburg General Store has ice cream, pastries and other fun stuff.

Restrooms are available in the Grange, Exhibit A, and Tangle Chocolate.

Alcohol can only be consumed at Exhibit A Brewing and Tangle Chocolate.

Parking

Please park in designated areas.  If you part on side streets, please be sure to not block people’s driveways.

Parking is available beside and behind Exhibit A Brewing.  There is also limited on-street parking on Main Street, North Street, and East Main Street.

Do not park in charging station spots or in Cichy’s Garage parking area.  Your car may be towed.

Other Events

Other things are going on in the area as well.  The Grange Fair is the centerpiece, with Porchfest music all around it.  Other events may be going on in town as well.
